At the end of the Spring Festival holiday, the grown-up children left their old parents for work in other places and the old parents again become the empty nesters. To relieve these empty nesters of post-holiday depression, social workers in Suzhou Industrial Park Hudong Community visit them one by one, and even in the rainy days, organize the volunteers to send fresh vegetables, do cleaning and give door-to-door services for the elders, easing the elders’ loneliness and bring hearty greetings to them on behalf of all the neighbors.
